Car Batteries
Car battery faults are the most common cause of a breakdown.
Car batteries can die at any time of year but it's more likely in winter.
Battery failure can be avoided however. If your battery is more than 5 years old you should have it tested and changed if required.
If you only use your car for short journeys where only a small charge is being built up then you might consider getting a battery conditioner.
